As Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja get married in Mumbai today. Sonam’s look for the wedding is out. Sonam is looking adorable and a glowing bride, dressed in bridal red looked fabulous while Anand Ahuja looked dapper dressed in a golden sherwani with a ruby contrast mala for his big day. In some time, Sonam and Anand will get married as per Sikh traditions at her aunt’s bungalow in Bandra.

The ceremony will be followed by a lunch and a reception for the newly-weds will be hosted in the evening.
Anand Ahuja with the traditional turban is looking a handsome groom. Grandson of Harish Ahuja, a prominent businessman in Delhi, Anand is the managing director of Shahi Exports and owns wardrobe label Bhane. He also owns sneaker brand VegNonVeg. The businessman divides his time between Delhi, London and Mumbai.
Anil Kapoor, was seen greeting the media waiting outside the wedding venue. As per the dress code for the wedding ceremony Anil Kapoor wore an Indian traditional ivory sherwani.
All the celebraties reached Sonam’s shaadi venue. Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor with sister Karisma, husband Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Swara Bhasker, in a blue Abu-Sandeep lehenga, and Jacqueline Fernandez wearing pink and silver Anita Dongre.
Before this, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s sangeet ceremony held at Sunteck Signature Island, in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex, yesterday (May 7). Sonam wore a traditional dress that featured a heavily-embroidered gold blouse and ivory-gold lehena. It is designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. She matched the dress with traditional jewellery of her mother. Her hair was neatly done up in a long braid and adorned with a white garland.

Family and close friends attended the function dressed in different shades of white. Sonam’s cousins Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Mohit Marwah with wife Antara, uncle Sanjay Kapoor and Boney Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Masaba Gupta, Shilpa Shetty, Karan Johar, Rani Mukherji, Varun Dhawan, Karisma Kapoor, veteran actress Rekha and designer Kumal Rawal were also present.

Earlier this month, Sonam and Anand confirmed their wedding, ending months of speculation. Both the Ahuja and the Kapoor families released a joint statement, saying: “The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.”
