New National Education Policy 2020 unveiled by Modi government

The much-awaited National Education Policy (NEP) was announced by HRD Minister Ramesh Nishank and I&B Minister Prakash Javadekar on Wednesday.

The new education policy which will replace the existing National Policy on Education 1986, aims at making “India a global knowledge superpower”.

Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the cabinet under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved a New Education Policy for the 21st century.

Samsung launches up innovation lab at IIT-Jodhpur

Samsung has launched an innovation lab at IIT-Jodhpur in Rajasthan during an online event on Friday. The event was inaugurated by Ajay Prakash Sawhney, secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The lab has been set up as part of Samsung Digital Academy, Samsung’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
