Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal Thursday launched a new anti-pollution campaign under which motorists will be encouraged to switch off vehicles on traffic lights.
While appealing to all motorists in the city to join the drive,CM Kejriwal said, “Covid-19 has led to distress among people, let’s ensure that pollution doesn’t make things worse for us.”
Delhi recorded an air quality index (AQI) of 315 last week. The last time the air quality hit such a poor level was in February.
