Delhi had to dig deep to come up with a win against the mighty Sunriser who are playing quality cricket and are at top half of the table. Under the able leadership of Captain Kane Williamson their batting and bowling looked balanced and winning matches from every situation in IPL 2018.
Daredevil on the other hand struggled this season as well. The return of Gautam Gambhir hasn’t made any difference to the squad. Delhi looked good in patches but not being able to perform consistently is their biggest drawback till now. Big name players failed to perform in crunch situation.
Last time when these two side meet Delhi posted decent total of 163 runs thanks to half century of young under 19 batsmen Prithvi Shah, but Alax Hales & Yusaf Pathan made sure sunrisers win comfortably in the end.
Feroz Shah Kotla has been a high scoring ground this year and Daredevils playing at home would like to take some advantage going into the match with their new captain Iyer in good batting form.
