INS Jalashwa to evacuate 700 Indians from Colombo.

Indian Navy ship INS Jalashwa is all set to bring back 700 stranded Indians under the second phase of Operation ”Samudra Setu” from Colombo port in Srilanka.

The ship reached Colombo Port this morning (June 1) and will depart with passengers to Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu.

It will subsequently repatriate another 700 personnel from Male in the Maldives to Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu, according to the Indian Navy.
