As per study conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mandi, the People travelling to India from Dubai and the UK have been pointed out to be the primary source of the spread of the novel coronavirus infection in India.
According to the research, the COVID-19 was imported to Indian states mainly due to international travels.
The study has also found that infected cases from Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh played less role in spreading the disease outside their communities.
