Indian Railways constructing its first cable stayed rail bridge

Indian Railways is constructing its first cable stayed rail bridge- Anji Khad on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) section of Northern Railways in Jammu & Kashmir.

This bridge at an height of 331 metres above the river bed will connect Katra and Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Anji Khad Bridge has a single pylon and the total length of the Anji Khad Bridge is 473.25 metres.
