Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Friday announced that flights between India and the United Kingdom will resume partially from January 8.
Initially, till January 23, the operations will be restricted to 15 flights per week each for carriers of the two countries to and from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad only.
The flights between India and the UK had been suspended on December 23 after the discovery of a new strain of Covid-19.
