The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) on Friday allowed Kolkata police to use under galleries of Eden Gardens cricket stadium as a quarantine facility for its force.
The decision was taken in an emergency meeting held today at Lal Bazaar at the Chamber of Special Commissioner Jawed Shamim and CAB officials.
So far 544 Kolkata Police personnel have tested positive for the virus and 411 made a recovery.
