DRDO Unveils Advanced Hypersonic Wind Tunnel Facility

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday (19 December) inaugurated DRDO’s advanced Hypersonic Wind Tunnel (HWT) test facility.

The state-of-the-art HWT Test facility is pressure vacuum driven enclosed free jet facility having nozzle exit diameter of 1 meter.

India is the third country to have such a large facility in terms of size and operating capability after US and Russia.

PM CARES to allocate two Covid-19 hospitals in Bihar

The PM CARES Fund Trust has decided to allocate funds towards the establishment of two makeshift Covid-19 hospitals in Bihar. The 500-bed COVID-19 Makeshift Hospitals will be established at Patna & Muzaffarpur in Bihar. These hospitals will have 125 ICU beds with ventilators and 375 normal beds each.
