Delhi government declares all nursing homes with less than 50 beds as COVID-19 nursing homes

Delhi government on Saturday (June 13) night passed an order declaring  all nursing homes in the national capital, which have 10-49 beds, as ‘COVID nursing homes’.

The Delhi government also directed all such nursing homes to make their beds functional in three days.

According to Delhi government, all such nursing homes will have to ensure that intermingling of COVID and non-COVID patients is avoided.

Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan passes away

Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan has passed away on Thursday evening at the age of 74. Paswan had undergone heart surgery last week and was due to undergo another one in a few days. Paswan had been serving as the Union Minister of Food and Public Distribution in the Narendra Modi-led NDA government.
