Delhi Capitals has recently announced Rishabh Pant as their new captain for the upcoming season of Indian Premier League that starts on the 9th of April.
Pant will step in as captain for the 14th edition of the tournament, as injured Shreyas Iyer hurt his left shoulder during the recently concluded India-England ODI series.
This will be Pant’s debut as IPL captain. The 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman has captained Delhi’s state team in the past.
