Maharashtra government has allowed cinema halls and multiplexes to resume operations with 50 per cent capacity from November 5.
Earlier, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray had held a virtual meeting with prominent multiplex and single-screen owners on a Standard Operating Procedure for the functioning of theatres.
The Centre had already allowed cinema owners to reopen their properties on Oct 15 with consideration of thier state govt.
