The Central government on Wednesday gave a nod for conducting pending board exams across the states with preventive measures like social distancing.
Earlier, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had also released its revised timetable on Tuesday for examinations of pending papers of Class 10 and 12 between July 1 and 15.
The pandemic forced the closure of schools in March and resulted in the suspension of board exams over all states across the country.
