Central govt has directed all states and Union Territories to form panels to coordinate and oversee the vaccination drive.
Union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that coordination committees must be constituted to oversee the Covid-19 vaccination across the country.
The health ministry stated that Covid-19 vaccine introduction will span over a year with multiple groups being included sequentially.
