Union government on Monday exempted charitable organisations, corporates, and other overseas entities from paying integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) on Covid relief materials.
This includes Covid-19 vaccines, medical grade oxygen, oxygen concentrators, cryogenic transport tanks, and Remdesivir injections and its raw material.
The Centre has already waived off basic customs duty on oxygen and oxygen-related equipment .
