Bangladesh signs MoU with India for 30 million doses of coronavirus vaccine

Bangladesh government ,on Thursday, signed an MoU with India to procure 30 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine ‘Covishield’.

The Covishield vaccine is being developed by the University of Oxford in collaboration with AstraZeneca and the Serum Institute of India (SII).

As per the MoU, Pune-based SII will provide Bangladesh with 30 million doses of University of Oxford’s Covid-19 vaccine candidate ‘Covishield’ through Bexmico Pharmaceuticals.
