Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has launched a scholarship programme for aspiring medical students seeking admissions in colleges overseas.
The scholarship will provide the students with a financial aid of Rs 5 lakh each which will help them in seeking admissions.
The SONUISM programme, launched by actor Sonu Sood for medical students of India, is an acronym for ‘Scholarship Offered to Needy and Underprivileged Indian Medical Students Abroad’.
