If we talk about vital role Government of India is playing in reference to protecting and safeguard the interests of workers and upholding their dignity as labour.

Government has started the scheme like Direct Benefit Transfer in which Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna(PMJDY) has now become the biggest financial inclusion initiative in the world and Rajiv Gandhi Shramik Kalyan Yojna, Aam Aadmi Bima Yojna, Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna(RSBY), Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan all have started since 1990 & the aim is to protect small vulnerable children in the age group 6 to 14 years, In 2015 India has launched Atal Pension Yojna  to provide fixed pension after the age of 60.
