An 87-year-old Indian-origin man, Hari Shukla received the first Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in the U.K.
Shukla received the vaccine shot at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle in the United Kingdom (UK) on Tuesday (December 8).
“I’m so pleased we are hopefully coming towards the end of this pandemic and I am delighted to be doing my bit by having the vaccine”, said Hari Shukla ahead of receiving his jab.
